Dear honorable operator of Lufthansa Airlines
My spouse and I have a study permit and open work permit visa of Canada. We are going to travel to Canada by flight that is operated by Lufthansa and Air Canada. The flight departs Istanbul to Frankfurt (Lufthansa, Flight number: LH1305/321) and after that goes to Toronto (Air Canada, Flight number: LH6796/763).
We are Iranian and we do not have Schengen visa. Nowadays it is said that Iranian people (without Schengen visa) are not allowed to have a stop in the Schengen area, when they are traveling to Canada!!!
We want to book the aforementioned flight and really need your help.
Are we allowed to have a stop at Frankfurt airport?
Are we allowed to start our travel from Istanbul (Turkey) instead of Tehran (Iran)?

My name is Yasamin Soleimanian Boroujeni, and I am an Iranian citizen. I am a postdoctoral fellow at Laval University-Canada and I have a Canadian Visa (worker). My spouse also has open work permit visa of Canada. We are going to travel to Canada on 30 Jun by flight that is operated by Turkish and Air Canada. The flight departs Istanbul to Paris (Turkish, Flight number: 6691) and after that goes to Montreal (Air Canada, Flight number: 871). However, both flights are issued by Air Canada. Our ticket number is 1-77135. A stop at Charles De Gaulle Airport is less than 2 hours.
We are Iranian and we do not have Schengen or transit visa. Nowadays it is said that Iranian people (without Schengen visa) are not allowed to have a stop in the Schengen area, when they are traveling to Canada!!!
Are we allowed to have a stop at Paris airport?
