About Nile Air:

On 1 November 2009, the airline received its (AOC) from the Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority, which permitted the airline to launch operations.
The airline had originally ordered nine Airbus A321-200 aircraft in 2007, however in 2015 this order was adjusted to two aircraft.
It launched operations in August 2010, initially operating a short term wet lease contract with Libyan Arab Airlines, before starting scheduled services from Egypt in March 2011, with the launch of flights to Saudi Arabia.
In January 2011, the airline became the first private Egyptian airline to publish its schedule and flight availability on the Global Distribution System (GDS) and is now covered on all 3 GDS systems; Amadeus, Sabre Corporation & Travelport.
In 2013, Nile Air joined the Arab Air Carriers Organization and the African Airlines Association in 2016.

  1. My booked flight from Hurghada to Cairo on 4 June 2018 did not come and had to do other arrangements. a representative promised a refund, but now no refund is coming. is that Nile Air policy.

  3. Oh noooo I have a feeling that is going to happen to me today!! I have a confirmed flight in 4hours. If they telling lies AND not refunding. Then their aviation license should be revoked! I will update if they did that, after I get to Hurghada

  5. It’s very bad company the Nile air
    I have very bad experience with them
    I missed the flight twice from Turky to Egypt and from Egypt to turkey
    The reason I came to airport in Egypt at 10:30 and my flight at 12:00abd they said the gate close
    Not only me three customers been with me
    I wants to sue them and get my money back
    Luckily I find flight same day at Egypt air and cost me one thousand dollar for one way to catch my flight from Turky to United state
    I have very bad experience and not encourage anyone to use Nile air at all
    And they have very nasty service ever seen in my life
