  1. Dear Sir/Madam

It is with extreme frustration that I write this complaint over the waiting time to be served at the Emirates office in Harare.

I have booked flights with many other airlines and not a single one of them compares to the long waiting time at your offices. I had made a booking over the phone and all that was needed was for payment so I went to the Emirates office in Harare on 12 December and took the ticket per the system and waited my turn. There were approximately 5 people in front of me and yet my wait was over one hour resulting in missed appointments elsewhere.

This is not the first time I have waited and complained but seems your administration department does not care. I have already begun using other airlines for my trips and holidays as a result of a complaint lodged previously for stopping over in Lusaka both to and from Dubai resulting in no action from your end. The staff at Emirates do try their best and serve with a smile but it seems they are constrained by the way your system is designed.

If complaints such as the above are not considered then I will be faced with no option but to use your airline as an extreme last resort. There are other airlines which are more time friendly and shorter waiting times for bookings, payments and fligt durations, such as Rwandair and other flight options from Johannesburg. Like myself there are many other customers who now avoid using Emirates and I also lodged a similar complaint to the agent in Zimbabwe for Hajj and Umrah travels stating that other airlines offer better connecting times, such as Ethiopian Airlines.

It would be a real pity if no action continues to be taken for the above as you will indeed lose more business.

    Regards

    Arshad Munshi
