I tried to call the 1300 number listed several times over 2 days and every time, the line was busy. I had a reasonably urgent enquiry and would have been happy to email instead, but there was no option available for that.
I am traveling with Air Canada on the 29th July 2018 from Melbourne to Vancouver then onto Toronto. Do I have to collect my luggage at Vancouver and recheck it in again for Toronto or is it “Quick Connect” to Toronto and collect it there.
Every time I try to call air canada Australia says my call cannot be connected?? I can call another number. Has to be an Aust number to call ??
Air Canada has a 1300 655 767 number in Australia that is DISCONNECTED – I’ve paid for my son and his baby daughter to leave on a flight this Wednesday morning out of Sydney & when I punched in his booking reference is was shown as cancelled – A PATHETIC EXCUSE FOR AN AIRLINE

First time on Air Canada and it was the worst experience ever. I was on flight AC47 from Vancouver to Melbourne on 2nd of September, one hour into the flight my assigned legroom seat recliner was broken, which I paid extra(seat 18H aisle). Shortly after I advised the flight attendant Helen and she said she will look into and see if she can fix it. Helene came back few minutes later and advised me the seat recliner is broken and that she will look another vacant seat for me. Helen sat me at business and she apologised for the inconvenience. After about an hour or so the head flight attendant Dara woke me up yelled in my face and I was very confused to what was happening as I was in a deep sleep. Dara told me multiple times that people in business paid so much money and that I should not be here. When I saw I could not reason with her I decided to go back to my assigned seat. Once I when back to my seat I told another flight attendant and she never came and then half an hour later I told another flight attendant and she told me that she is unable to help me and that she will get the head flight attendant Dara to follow-up. I was so anxious to talk to Dara, she came and I explained to her what happen with my seat recliner which was broken, she did not believe me and I asked her to try it herself, once she realised the seat was broken she offered to seat me one of the regular seat I refused and requested to get a legroom seat. Dara offered to get me compensation form for to get refund due to the seat recliner broken. Dara came back advised that she cannot find the form and that I should complain once the flight lands in Melbourne.
I would like to thank the flight attendant Helen for all her support.
Dara is horrible person she should never work with people, as she has no compassion for others.
I will never fly with air Canada ever again
